Help Ukrainian animal shelters survive the war

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Maria. I’m from Ukraine, but currently I live in Canada where I moved to do my PhD at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
You’ve all heard about the horrible situation in Ukraine with our people losing their lives, getting injured and being forced to hide in bomb shelters due to Russia’s invasion. Rescued animals in pet shelters and homeless pets suffer during this war as much as people do. In our country, unlike in the Western countries, we don’t have an efficiently working centralized animal rescue system (like SPCA or Humane Society), and most homeless and abandoned pets are being under the care of independent volunteers, running their own shelters and raising funds independently. Now they struggle even more than ever and need our help to provide food and urgent medical treatment to their cats and dogs.
There’re multiple small-scale pet rescue organizations and shelters that are struggling to survive in Ukraine right now, for this fundraiser I’d like to draw your attention to five of them:

1. Animal shelter ‘Zveropolis’ in Mirgorod, Poltava region. Here’s the Facebook profile of its owner Eleonora: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100017298605593
They provide shelter to 32 cats and dogs and also feed homeless and abandoned pets in their area.
2. Animal shelter ‘Wonderland’ in Kyiv. Facebook profile of its owner Marina: https://www.facebook.com/marina.ionko
Marina takes care of 40 cats and 3 dogs and these days they’re all left without heat and electricity due to the Russian attack.
3. Mini-shelter of Elena Taran in Kherson: https://www.facebook.com/groups/590880278887356/
Elena rescued and found forever homes for over 1000 pets over the past 12 years, currently she takes care of over 85 pets in her shelter and feeds over 25 abandoned homeless animals in the city.
4. Organization ‘Help for homeless animals’ in Kryvyi Rih: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1946141825607600/
This group is run by Svetlana, she takes care of 7 rescued cats and 4 dogs living in her house, she also raises funds for keeping rescued 34 dogs and 3 cats in their foster homes and feeds 12 stray cats in her neighborhood.
5. Animal rescue volunteer Alina Vokhmyanina in Kyiv: https://www.facebook.com/alina.vokhmianina
Alina has been an independent animal rescue volunteer for the past 12 years, she rescues homeless animals in need, and raises funds for providing medical treatment to them and to cover the expenses of keeping them at foster homes while searching for forever homes for them. Currently she is taking care of 28 dogs.

I will send the raised funds to my Ukrainian bank account, and then split the money into equal parts and transfer them to the Ukrainian bank cards of the above-mentioned rescue organizations, all the transfer confirmations and receipts will be published on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/maria.tokareva.79
Unfortunately, most Ukrainian independent rescue organizations can’t have one-click donation systems designed for donations from abroad, and I started this fundraiser specifically to help transfer funds for buying food and meds to those who need them most.
Let's support Ukrainian rescued pets and help them survive the war!
