Ukrainians inspire all the world with their strong spirit and uncompromised will for victory.
From the first hours of war our team of 40 journalists decided that our mission is to help Ukrainians keep strong morale, clear mind and faith in victory. So that our people will withstand hardships and win.
What we do to help Ukrainians survive
Give hope
We tell how the situation is changing for the better. Show our readers how Western countries, ordinary people from there, support Ukrainians in their battle.
Help find meaning in life
Many Ukrainians say they feel guilt because they don’t fight at the forefront. We tell them about volunteer organisations they can join and share ideas how they can help Ukraine win from where they are.
Give strength to stand up to hardships and keep on
We publish articles by therapists, who give advice on how to keep a stable mental health; tell about initiatives like free mental help, self-help applications etc. And what is the most important - we tell stories of how Ukrainians help others and help themselves.
Spread faith in victory of Ukraine
By showing many Ukrainian people and businesses who didn’t give up and go on fighting for their freedom, we inspire people to believe in the victory of our land.
Help believe in yourself
If the other person, the same as me, could do it, - then I can do too. We believe that the best way to lead is to lead by example. That’s why we publish dozens of positive stories about efforts of Ukrainians in tackling humanitarian crises.
Inspire with positive examples:
Our team relentlessly searches for positive stories of volunteers, their initiatives, those whom they helped. And about people who go on working for the sake of their land.
Help tackle hardships:
Our media publishes hundreds of articles on how to survive in the new circumstances. We’ve run articles on how to hide from bombs, rescue oneself during a gunfight, survive an explosive blast, choose the safest bomb shelter, etc.
Help to help others:
We are helping all volunteer initiatives to spread the word. At the moment we are working on a platform that will help volunteers to organise and cooperate.
We support 4 mln Ukrainians with our journalism
4 million Ukrainains are reading our websites monthly. Half a million visit our media every day. We publish around 100 articles and news for them daily. Here is what they say about our work:
Darya: Sometimes I have no strength to go on. Then I go to MC.today media to look for something positive. There I read stories about how Ukrainians go on working for the sake of the country. And I feel better.
Vitaly: You let me feel that I am a part of community, I feel unity with those who help our country.
Viktoria: Your media gives my family faith in the victory of our land.
What our journalistic team will do after Ukraine wins
When our country wins the war with Russia and Russian invaders will leave our land, we will help rebuild Ukraine. We will support the initiatives, and I am sure there will be plenty, that will help our country get back on track. And we will tell stories of people who change Ukraine to the better. So that Ukraine becomes a prosperous land.
About me and my team of journalists
My name is Vera. I am a journalist, entrepreneur and a girl from Ukraine. Five years ago I got brave enough to make my dream come true and launched my own business — an online publication that’s called Media for Creators .
We had a beautiful dream: to inspire Ukrainians to believe in themselves, to do more, and to turn Ukraine into a prosperous country.
We have been writing about tech and entrepreneurship. By this winter, our team had grown to 40 people, and 4 million Ukrainians are reading our articles monthly. Our media group now also includes two other outlets — ITC , a publication about technology, and Highload , a media for developers.
When Russia tried to take away our future and our freedom, instead of tech news, we started to tell our readers about the war. We’ve put all our effort into helping our readers survive here and now and to have strength to go on.
Air raid alerts sound above all Ukrainian cities now. Inside our country there is no safe place anymore. And still my journalists keep on working from bomb shelters, from villages in the middle of nowhere, and from other countries where they had to escape from the atrocities of this war.
They go on publishing hundreds of news stories and feature articles every day to support our readers.
Please help our media and journalists survive to keep on helping Ukrainians win and withstand all the hardships they are facing. Please do it for the sake of free Ukraine.
How we will use funds raised
We will spend the funds raised, including your donation, to pay for:
- Creating a platform to help volunteers organize their effort more efficiently
- Creation of content, articles, news, stories that will help Ukrainians keep going
- Technical support of our websites with half a million Ukrainians reading daily.
- Supporting team members in need of help, for example those who fled their homes to escape artocities of war
- Platform commission and taxes, up to 15% of all the sum.
- The budget we aim to raise will be enough for us to last for 4-5 months. That’s enough for Ukraine to win and all of us to move on to rebuilding our land.
Thank you!
This is how our team looked before the war. We want to be as happy again one day.
That is why we work non-stop for Ukrainians to succeed and win. Please support us in this effort!
