In memory of Jing Liang to support his family
Donation protected
To Trail Run, Marathon, and Spartan Race community:
On May 22, we lost a beloved elite runner, Jing Liang, at the tragic Yellow River Stone Forest 100K event in China. Liang was ranked as ITRA Performance Index #8 (913) and he held the 24-hour running record in China.

As we grieve his loss, I'd like to call for help from the community to support his family. Jing ran ultramarathons not only because he loved this sport, but also as a profession to support his wife and 2-year-old daughter. He is the only source of income of his family.
All funds collected will be sent to his wife directly through Jing' teammate, ultra trail elite runner Jiaju Zhao (https://itra.run/runners/1845145-jiaju-zhao).
On a personal note, Jing is someone special to me. His energetic performances and courage in tackling difficult challenges inspire me. He's also someone I've personally corresponded with in a chat just a few weeks ago, he told me he wanted to run the Western States 100 in 2022 (sadly, this can no longer come to pass).
I will post the receipt from Jiaju Zhao representing Jing's family.
Thank you all for your support.
