Appeal for liver and kidney transplant

Umair was first admitted to the hospital when he was 4 years old in 2001. back then we didn't know what is it what caused stones in his kidneys. just with little medication he was sent home. he had his first major surgery when he was 9 years old in 2007 a 27 mm stone was removed from left kidney back then but still nobody knew what caused it.

In 2009 and 2010 he was constantly in and out of the hospital for the treatment known as Lithotripsy. In this procedure stones are broken through shock waves. In 2014 he had a road accident and his thigh leg got broke. He stayed on bed for 3 months.

In 2019 he was again admitted to the hospital for the stones and doctors suggested him open kidney surgery. First surgery was then done in March 2019 and it took 7 hours for the doctors to remove the stones from just one kidney.

The second surgery was scheduled in September 2019 and it was then done in stages. He went to Operation room two times in two weeks and even after the surgeries when he couldn’t recover it completely broke his heart.

His kidneys failed completely at this point.

How he has been living now?

Now it's been one and a half year that he is on dialysis. He suffered for 20 years and didn’t know the disease what caused this. Nobody knew that he had faulty liver which caused this. Dialysis are requiring 3 times a week to stay alive. He was diagnosed with primary hyperoxaluria type 1 which is an extremely rare disease. in this disease a mutation in a gene was found.

Doctors advised for Liver and kidney combined transplant otherwise it may turn into a life ending cancer. 
Weakness is so much that he is having difficulty in standing up and going to washroom. This is a very difficult procedure and we are pursuing to get it done asap so that he can regain back his health. despite with the difficulties in his life Umair has always been motivated. he even completed his degree in information technology.
