Help Uncle Matt After Fire Devastation
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Dana and I am starting this on behalf of my family for my Uncle Matt, aka Mr. Mole. He lost his house on 1/8 in the Eaton fire in Altadena. He lost everything. Left the house with the shirt on his back and two pairs of jeans. The fire took a turn and got so bad when he walked out of the house between the smoke and the embers, he couldn’t even see his car. The houses across the street were already gone. Needless to say, he didn’t have time to gather anything. It wasn’t only my uncle but his son who was staying there with him, his wife, and his 3-year-old granddaughter. They are all safe, thank God, but left with nothing.
If you know my Uncle Matt, you know he’s always helping other people: family, friends, neighbors, people in the community. He volunteers his time to coach kids in sports, even when his kids are grown. Always ready to lend a helping hand when needed, whether he knows you or not.
This was our family home. Been in the family for 60+ years. Not only were my Dad, Aunts, and Uncles raised in the house, but so were their children and so were their children. Many memories, love, laughter, and tears throughout the years. My Uncle loved this house, as did our family. I know all the material things can be replaced, but it is still hard to fathom.
This was the Knetge house. Where it all started in California.
Any amount will help ease the stress and burden and our family appreciates it more than you know. If you don’t feel comfortable donating money, you can always reach out to me privately and send gift cards, etc.
