Help my Uncle Shorty during his recovery

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I have created this fund for assistance in hopes that anyone who can help our family or who has wanted to in the past can do so now during this time of need. My uncle Shorty, who resides in Mexico, recently faced a harrowing ordeal that has left him in need of support. While preparing a meal he cut his middle and ring finger so deeply that he cut his tendons and required immediate medical attention. Unfortunately, the healthcare system in Mexico operates differently from what many of us are accustomed to, and my uncle had to endure a two-week wait in the hospital for the essential treatment he needed. During these two weeks his wife and son made trips there to provide him with fresh clothes and food so he wouldn’t lose his spot, he also missed out and will continue to miss out on work and pay. My uncle also has two dogs that he loves a lot and while he was in the hospital one of them died making everything much more agonizing then it had to be.

This delay in receiving medical care has not only caused him immense physical pain but has also significantly impacted his ability to provide for his family and maintain a decent quality of life. My uncle is a hardworking individual who has always been there for those in need, and now he's the one who needs our help.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go towards covering the mounting medical expenses, including surgeries, medications, and ongoing rehabilitation that my uncle requires for a full recovery. Additionally, these funds will help alleviate the financial strain on his family, who are doing their best to support him during this challenging time.
