Help Underprivileged Students Learn English in Laos

We urgently need your support for 2025 to help students live in a safe, supportive place while learing English in Laos.
I am Boun Soukhaluck, a passionate advocate for educating our youth. My goal is shaped by personal hardships and driven by my hard work to provide children who've faced adversity with the same opportunities I have achieved.
Our GoFundMe campaign aims to fund full scholarships for underprivileged students from remote villages to:
- Study English at our Phakhoun Center Foreign Languages Training Center, and
- To live in a safe and supportive environment while attending secondary school.
To date, limited scholarships have covered tuition, supplies, and some clothing costs. This is insufficient to support students' year-long stay in Muang Long and their future success.
We seek funds for a three-year pilot program to provide full, one-year scholarships to at least 20 students annually.
Our expanded scholarship program will offer comprehensive support, including meals, transportation, healthcare, supplies, mentorship, and housing in a supervised environment. .
Currently, 700 students aged 12-18 from remote villages reside in unsupervised dormitories with inadequate food and essential supplies.
For a single disadvantaged student enrolled at the center,
- $25: Furnishes essential clothing.
- $50: Provides textbooks and supplies.
- $100: Supports housing and healthcare needs.
- $200: Funds a full year scholarship.
