We are thrilled to announce the Janakpur Tech Bootcamp, a 3-month long pioneering program and the first of its kind in Janakpur, Nepal. This event will be held from 26th September 2024 to 23rd December 2024. This bootcamp is a charitable initiative organized by the non-profit department of Neelgai, and we need your help to make it a reality!
Our Mission
The boot camp aims to empower 60 talented individuals from underprivileged communities in Madhes, Nepal equipping them with the latest tech skills and preparing them to secure tech jobs both within Nepal and globally. We will be training 60 participants, 30 in each course: Web Development and Data Science.
Breaking Barriers for a Brighter Future
The tech industry in Nepal is rapidly growing. However, due to financial barriers and a lack of quality education, many bright and motivated youths are left behind. This bootcamp aims to break that cycle by bridging the gap between theoretical IT education in Janakpur’s colleges and practical applications in software engineering and data science.
Janakpur Tech Bootcamp is designed to be accessible to all, regardless of background. We’ve set a minimal entry fee of just USD 22 to ensure that financial constraints don't prevent talented individuals from participating. Additionally, to foster diversity and encourage more women to enter the tech field, the bootcamp is free for women.
