As many of you know Urban Grill is a small, family-owned restaurant in the heart of Newtown, OH. They offer made-to-order and locally sourced food. Until March 15th, Urban was one of the major employers in Newtown. They employee 44 employees, the majority of whom have now been laid off.
Like many restaurants, Urban Grill on Main is not able to serve its’ guests due to COVID-19. They are currently doing evening take-out dinners Wednesdays thru Sundays. We can't say how long this situation will last, but we can say that every donation helps Urban Grill to weather this storm and return to serve Newtown and surrounding communities.
As two servers at Urban Grill, we are coming together to help our workplace get through this dark spot. We understand this is a difficult time for many industries, not just ours. We appreciate all of the donations that will help Urban Grill get through this tough time. These donations will be given to the owners, Randy and Betsy, to help push them through this rough time as they're doing everything they can to keep the business strong. These donations will help to cover a number of expenses until Urban Grill is able to fully re-open!
