Help us bring back the BUSH!

Iranian queer artist and activist Dornika’s passion project “Bush” is a celebration of Body hair. It is an attempt to free BIPOC and femme bodies from the shame around the beautiful ways in which our bodies exist naturally. By bringing this music video to life, we aim to bring the diversity and sexuality of marginalized bodies to the forefront of popular culture and discourse in Berlin and the world.

We are a collective of creatives, putting our heart and soul into this project with no expectations of profit. All people involved are donating their time and energy to make Dornika’s “Bush”, a force to be reckoned with. We need your support to make this happen.

Given the current climate of censorship in the art and cultural world of Germany, getting funding for this project has been very difficult and we want your support for operational expenses like transportation, renting equipment etc. So if you believe that Queer and BIPOC bodies deserve to break free from these archaic norms of beauty and sexuality, your support will be remembered and appreciated everytime we see an oppressed body living freely, wearing their Bush with pride.

Whether €5, €10, or €15, any donation will bring us closer to making BUSH a tangible part of our cultural landscape. Alternatively, if donating is not an option, sharing and amplifying our message and call for donations will also be equally appreciated.
