Help Us Bring Corey Home

Donation protected
Corey Alan McArdle touched many, many lives in his brief 27 years on this planet. We watched, as the bright, eternally happy child soon grew into a warm, kind, loving and caring man. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend to so many. For those who didn't have the chance to meet him, or the pleasure of really knowing him,  allow me to share a little bit about what endeared Corey to so many people he encountered along the way.
He considered NJ his second home, and briefly lived here as a child. He spent many summers at the Jersey Shore spending special times with Aunts, Uncles,  Cousins, Friends, and especially his beloved "Poppy." A deep and sensitive soul,  his greatest love was for animals...ALL animals. In his lifetime, he maintained cats, dogs,  parakeets, snakes, scorpions, turtles and even tarantulas! And they all had weird and unusual names. That was Corey. He enjoyed nature and the great outdoors, from his days on Jersey beaches,  through parks, forests,  deserts,  and eventually, the California coast. He enjoyed hiking, exploring and most recently, photographing all he surveyed. Not surprisingly, he had a great eye, and captured some truly wonderful shots!
Most importantly,  Corey had a WICKED sense of humor, whether he was baiting and mocking family NY Yankees fans (he was die-hard Mets ALL the way!) or terrorizing his younger sister and brother with teasing and practical jokes, you could never stay mad at him for very long.
Corey had so much life left to live, and so much more to see, hear, feel and experience. But fate intervened, and on October 1st, 2021, Corey Alan McArdle gently, and quietly, slipped into eternity. The family is mounting this fundraiser to help offset overwhelming expenses. At his young age, Corey had not yet attained medical insurance or life insurance,  and covid- related layoffs during the pandemic only put more financial strain on the family. We only wish to bring Corey back from San Joaquin County, CA, to his home and family in Las Vegas, and give him the proper, dignified, yet celebratory Celebration of Life he so richly deserves. Any donation from Corey's friends, family, and admirers will be greatly appreciated,  and anything remaining after expenses, will be donated, in Corey's name, to various local charities that help people in need. That's who Corey was, and I know that's what he'd want. Thank you for reading, helping, and remembering a truly amazing soul. Corey will never be forgotten.
