Help us bring Paulina home to rest in peace
Paulina Ezer was a beautiful person, inside and out. Her smile could light up a room and her warmth seemed to emanate with every encounter. She was a devoted daughter, a kind cousin, and a first-class friend. Paulina had been living and studying in Melbourne for several years. Her studies in Canada, at Queens and Western, earned her a full scholarship to La Trobe University in Melbourne where she recently received her doctorate in Philosophy with a focus on Public Health Education and Promotion.
Then, on June 27th, our family received the news of the sudden passing of our dearest Paulina. She passed away in her bed in her apartment in Melbourne. Paulina’s family is dealing with the extreme devastation, loss and heartbreak that accompanies such a catastrophe. On top of this, there have been many complications and excessive costs associated with bringing her body back to Toronto to Rest In Peace close to her friends and family.
We have started this page to support the family with some of these costs. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Should we generate funds that exceed the cost of transport and funeral (>$50,000), any remaining amount will be dedicated to health research which was Paulina's intention once she completed her research abroad.
