An update from the family:

To everyone who loved and cared so much about our beautiful Rachel to make a donation to this GoFundMe page, please know you have made the world of difference to me and my family. We are devastated to share the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of our daughter, sister & friend, Rachel Taylor.

Rachel was a dedicated second grade teacher in Abu Dhabi. She had a passion for travel and an unforgettable smile. She was fiercely loyal and was a protector for everyone she loved.

Her family is now facing the unimaginable task of bringing Rachel home. It is an overwhelming challenge for her family to travel to and from the UAE. We are asking for support in covering the costs of travel for the family and repatriation.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
