Help us bring Ruby home

Hi my name is Valerie and I’m fundraising for my dog Ruby. She is almost 2 years old and she got hit by a car yesterday. I’m fundraising to cover costs for her surgery and vet bills. She escaped from our home and crossed the main road. She got hit on the way back to me. I stopped traffic on the main road and picked her up. She bit me on the lip while I was bringing her to safety because she was trying to protect herself from more pain. I got 10 stitches on my lip but I saved her life. Now we need your help to bring her back home.

UPDATE:
After all the testing and a CT scan, it has been determined that Ruby has nerve damage on her left leg. She is getting prepared for surgery to fix her broken pelvis (broken in 6 places). Doctors are hopeful that her right leg will function after recovery but her left leg might be permanently paralyzed.  Will update after surgery later on this evening.
