Hello, my name is Tiy Page, I'm the step daughter of Stuart Tokam, and this fundraiser has been made on behalf of my mother Vicky Tokam.
Sorry if this is blunt but I'm really at a loss for words.
This morning we found out that Stu chose to end his own life while he was on holiday in Turkey. We're all in shock.
The reason I've made this gofundme is because he's is currently being held by the Turkish authorities and awaiting a large fee to release his body and to fly him home to us.
My mother will be using the funds raised to pay for his body to be repatriated back to the UK from turkey, help pay for his cremation, and all funeral costs. The rest of the funds will be kept in our family to provide financial help his children Khem & Rhea in the future. To ensure this my mother Vicky Tokam will be added as a beneficiary to this fundraiser.
This year in particular has been harsh on us all... so I understand money is tight, but our family would appreciate any contributions, as we can't afford to pay for his flight by ourselves. We also need some help to pay towards the funeral costs. Thank you so much, the most important thing for us right now is to see him home. We only have until Monday to come up with the money, so anything helps a great deal x
