A Personal Story:

Hello, my name is Anthony McKenna, also known as The Irish Cat with the Electric Hat—a lifelong Marc Bolan and T. Rex fan.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder, which, at the time, left me feeling disconnected and lost. But as always, Marc’s music came to the rescue. Just like it did for so many others, Bolan’s music stepped in and saved my life. His electrifying sound, his rebellious spirit, and his unapologetic expression of self-love are the things that pulled me through the darkest days.

It wasn’t just Marc’s music that helped me—it was the love and support of the True Bolan Fans, including the incredible work of Danielz and T.Rextasy, who keep Marc’s legacy alive. They inspired me to return to the creative world and make something special—something that celebrates the music that helped me heal.

This video is my way of giving back to the Bolan community and concreting that legacy. We have all benefited from Marc's music and have been healed, every one of us in one way or the other. He continues to be the soundtrack to many people's lives! Let's celebrate together and ensure Marc's place in the UK / global music scene once more in time for the 50th anniversary in 2027, and I’m reaching out to all of you to join me in creating something that honours Marc’s impact on all our lives. We’re making something special—“We All Get It On – A T. Rex Fan Video”, a creative tribute to the one and only Marc Bolan and his iconic band, T. Rex. This video is not just a fan project; it’s a celebration of the music, the magic, and the spirit of glam rock that has inspired generations of fans, including us. We need YOUR help to make it happen! The project is planned to commemorate Marc's 50th anniversary, and we intend to include fan contributions in its realisation alongside some noted celebrities.
