Spectacular Hyacinth macaw needs your help

Daddy's Boy wasn't born in the wild....

Nor was he unlucky enough to be sentenced to a lifetime in a cage.

Daddy's Boy is one of the lucky parrots to come home to a gentle man who has made Daddy's Boy the center of his life for more than 30 years.

Daddy's Boy has a loving home and goes everywhere with his human. Intelligent, curious, engaging, deeply bonded yet accepting of others in social and educational settings, Daddy's Boy has had a fulfilling life.... up to now.

Life's difficulties have caught up with this perfect duo. Forced to move from their cozy cottage, the only home Daddy's Boy has ever known, this magnificent macaw and his man may also be forced apart. Daddy's Boy will have to be boarded until a new home is found. And truth be told, at some point soon, he may need to find a permanent haven, when “Daddy” can no longer care for his “Boy” in the wonderful style he has always provided his macaw.

The Plumery has come to the rescue, offering short- or long-term boarding as well as a forever home when Daddy's Boy needs to be relinquished. Please help us with bird care and overhead expenses now, so Daddy's Boy and parrots like him can receive quality of life attention for the rest of their lives.
