Help us build a house for a well deserving family!

*******update*******2/27/20******* Through my fundraising letters and this account I have made my goal! Wow, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FRIENDS AND FAMILY! Any extra funding I receive will go toward the other 12 on my team that are still fundraising and the family we are building for. ********************************* I have some very exciting last minute news!  I have been invited to join the Costa Rica missionary team from our church, SCF (Sparks Christian Fellowship). We are working with Homes of Hope - YWAM (Youth With A Mission). On March 15th-22nd, 2020 we will be building a home for a family of four. The father, mother and two boys are living in a shack built on dirt, so when it rains there is a lot of mud. They also do not have plumbing or electricity, so day to day life is a challenge.  As you know I have a heart for serving and missions is my favorite way to do it.  Mark and I have been on the last two teams from SCF to Ensenada Mexico where we have built a home in 2 days with a team of 15 people. This build will be 5 days as we get to provide plumbing and electricity! What an amazing blessing it will be for this well deserving family to receive a clean and safe home.  I would love for you to be a part of our team by helping pray and provide funding for my trip.  The cost is $1,750 for flights, transportation, lodging, meals (except for travel days). I am going to raise $2,000 to help cover other expenses and to also help with a store run for the family to purchase items for their new home on the final day. Would you like to join me? This is the oldest son, Jose (13) next to his bike and home. Jose, Arcel and Mom Jessica last year when our team was measuring and planning for their new home.  Dad, Jose was busy with the YWAM team. I am incredibly excited to meet this family and work along side them as we build them a safe and clean home in March, I hope you can be a part!
