Building a safer animal shelter for the animals.
Animals are not respected and taken care of well in our country. I, Gideon, and my team of 5 people are dedicated to giving these animals the lives they deserve. Dogs and cats that are abused, neglected, and mistreated are taken into our shelter for rehabilitation.
At the moment— The shelter is very small and cannot help further accommodate the amount of animals that are coming in and that we already house. The small space only leads to animals getting sick and scared due to the congestion.
The current shelter is rented and it costs $287/month. It was recently decided to scout out land in a safer place, to buy instead. The cost to buy the land is $3150, but rent is also going up so it’s a must to move as soon as possible in order not to lose the current shelter.
We need a bigger shelter that can help our mission to save and protect animals for the future.
