Help us build an Islamic Centre and Community Hub - Phase 2

Caversham Muslim Association is a registered charity. We have now outgrown the community centre we use and what it can provide us. Our ambition is to secure our own premises. This will enable us to increase our madrassa student numbers, hold more daily congregational prayers, Jummah prayers, and organise more Islamic events at one central location. We are also keen to expand our dawah activities to our non-Muslim communities. A centre in Caversham will achieve all this and more with your support. Establishing an Islamic centre and Community hub in Caversham will be the first and only facility in the north of Reading.

The Community Hub will also service to the wider Community of Caversham and enable the CMA to open up our current services and introduce new services and community space, which are very much needed for all living in Caversham.

Although land and buildings are at a premium, the CMA is working to secure land on Gosbrook Road in Caversham. It is situated in a central location with good public transport links and provides an ideal opportunity for advancing our ambitions to expand. Previously the Heights School was temporarily situated on this site and before that a nursery. To further our prospects of securing this land, we have applied to the council to designate this land as a Community Asset.

We call upon you to support our efforts by donating generously to this important cause for the people of Caversham.
