We need your help to create something truly special for Sheffield!

Help us transform an empty warehouse on Ecclesall Road into a thriving Community Wellness Centre—a warm, welcoming space where Sheffield’s elderly and those with chronic health conditions can come together to socialise, rehabilitate, and regain independence. With expert-led support from Community Wellness Services, this centre will provide essential rehabilitation, mental well-being programs, and a vibrant social hub for those who need it most. Together, we can turn this blank space into a lifeline for our community!

At Community Wellness Services, we’re proud to be working alongside Promoting Health, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Sheffield's residents. Together, we share a mission: to reduce social isolation and expand access to social and activity services for those who need it most. Over the years, we’ve built a reputation as a trusted and respected provider, and every week, we support over 1,000 individuals across the city—quietly making a real difference in people’s lives.

We’ve built strong partnerships with incredible local organisations, including Age UK Sheffield, Parkinson’s UK Sheffield, the MS Society, the Stroke Association, Sheffcare, and many more. By working together with Sheffield’s clubs, companies, and charities, we’ve created a network of support that’s already changing lives.

Now, we’re ready to take things even further. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where people can meet, connect, and rehabilitate—a place that truly brings the community together. With your help, we can turn this vision into reality and continue our work to build a healthier, more connected Sheffield.

Sheffield is a city known for its strong sense of community, yet so many of our most vulnerable residents are struggling in silence. With an ageing population and increasing numbers of people dealing with long-term health conditions, we need a safe and supportive environment where they can stay active, make connections, and access vital services.

What Our Community Wellness Centre Will Provide:

A Welcoming Social Hub – A friendly and inclusive space where people can meet, build friendships, and take part in engaging activities.

Specialist Rehabilitation & Support – Expert-led exercise programs, physiotherapy, and tailored rehabilitation plans to help individuals regain strength and confidence.

Mental Well-being & Emotional Support – Mindfulness sessions and peer support groups to promote mental resilience and overall well-being.

Fully Accessible Facilities – A safe, thoughtfully designed space ensuring ease of movement and comfort for everyone.

Healthy Living & Lifestyle Guidance – Practical advice on nutrition, wellness, and managing chronic conditions to support long-term health.
