Help Us Build the Hellenic Community Center!

You may recognize Assumption Greek Orthodox Church as the home of Louisville's annual GreekFest, from WorldFest downtown, or the Greek Glendi, but we offer so much more than delicious food and a lively atmosphere! The people of Assumption GOC have served the spiritual and practical needs of this community for 100 years, and we pray that we will be able to fulfill even more needs in the coming years...but we need your help to do so. The Church's existing hall can no longer accommodate the needs of the community, nor those of our parish. Over the last few years, we have worked to secure architectural plans, permits, and funding for a new structure that will serve Louisville for the next 100 years...the Hellenic Community Center!
This new structure will allow Assumption GOC's outreach ministries to reach even more people in need, enhance the GreekFest experience, and allow our Orthodox presence to flourish. It would serve as a stunning venue for weddings and other formal events and be a safe place for youth to gather together.
Unfortunately, with costs rising due to supply chain issues, labor shortages, and other economic factors, the price tag for the new Hellenic Community Center has more than doubled since planning began. Many people, both within our parish and from the greater community, have selflessly donated to the construction fund, but there is still a long way to go. This is where you come in!
Your donation will help make this new Hellenic Community Center a reality. We respectfully ask that you look within your heart and consider the many ways that such a facility will benefit the people of Louisville. Naming rights for areas within the new structure are available with certain donation levels, so please message us if you have any questions. With your help, we can serve others together!
Thank you, and God Bless You!
