Help keep our sanctuary open!

Heaven on Earth Animal Retirement Sanctuary is the final home to retired farmed and rescued animals.

We have 10 species of animals and over 100 residents in total. Many of our animals come from sanctuaries who have rescued and rehabilitated the animals and need to place them in a forever loving home.

The types animals who call Heaven on Earth home are Cows, Horses, Donkeys, Llamas, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Geese, Ducks and Chickens. Each animal comes to us with a story of harm, neglect, fear or abandonment, and now spread a contagious feeling of joy and love of life because they are free, loved, well fed and live in beautiful surroundings and shelter.

We use our beautiful sanctuary to provide experiential learning for visitors and school groups who come through. We teach them about the typical lives that many farmed animals experience on a daily basis in our country and the world of fear, sadness, neglect and extreme suffering.

Our aim is to teach empathy and share knowledge, so people begin to make more conscious choices about their animal product consumption. We also connect animal products to human health and the huge effects of farming on climate change.

Our future plans include creating additional programming that includes summer camps, animal therapy and forest activities on our 20 acres of property.

As you can imagine running the sanctuary is expensive. Our annual budget is over $500,000. This includes: Hay and Grain Feed for 10 species, Straw and shavings for bedding, Veterinary care for all 100 animals, Shelter and fencing maintenance, additions as needed, animal caregiver staff for daily pasture and shelter cleaning, feeding, enrichment, activities. Overall sanctuary expenses, upkeep and utilities.

We are building our base of grants and donations, but since we are a new sanctuary, only two years old, we need more support to help us through these early years while we get our fundraising muscle built.

Your generous support will allow us to stay open in our current capacity and continue to love and take care of our animal residents, having a huge impact for each one of them, and the people who visit them.
