Help us save these orphaned foals.

At just hours or days old, these babies became orphans because their mommas are run off. These babies are brand new and if not for Sugar Shack Horses and others, would be left to die from exposure to the harsh winter conditions and no food. As a rescue, Sugar Shack Horses assumes all costs associated with these foals. We rely solely on donations to operate and save these horses. To date, in 2023, we have taken in 19 babies, most of them needing mare replacement milk every two hours around the clock. Last year, we rescued 36. Almost every day we are receiving more of these foals and we won't turn any away. These foals need blankets, supplies, heating lamps, vet care and so much more. This rescue doesn't have any paid staff so all of the proceeds from your donations go directly to the orphaned foals. Once these foals are older and healthier we will adopt them out to loving families to grow up in.
