Help us celebrate the life of Daren Murdock

This fundraiser was created on behalf of our family to help raise funeral costs to honor our father Daren Murdock who passed away unexpectedly on January 6th.

Daren was always a provider who loved to serve in any capacity he could, always giving back to those around him when he had the financial means. When he started to develop health complications that led to his eventual blindness and he was forced to leave his beloved career of drafting homes and helping people in the Eastern Idaho community and beyond visualize their dream homes, he still found ways to lift others around him even as the financial impact of the loss of his career and his increasing medical costs mounded. Daren faced many challenges throughout life, particularly his final years but he was consistently the most positive person in the room, always looking to ensure those around him were taken care of.

At this time our family's greatest priority is making sure that he is taken care of and that we honor him now that he can finally rest and be free of his earthy constraints. We are working on planning the funeral and will update this as information becomes available. We are asking for donations during this challenging time to support finalizing medical costs and funeral expenses. The family is hoping to ease the financial burden of covering the immediate expenses, we know this is a difficult financial time of year for many, and appreciate all the love and support no matter the contribution.

Most importantly, we want to share the love that Daren had for everyone in this community, we would love to see all of the people he touched at the service (details to come) and hope to find ways to honor him. We have appreciated all the kind words, and love that has been received so far, we are grateful for all of you and greatly appreciate any financial support you can lend.
