Help us celebrate the life of Wilson Sornoza

This was written on behalf of the Sornoza family. Wilson, our father, has been battling Colon Cancer since 2019. He was able to beat it the first time after receiving treatment and undergoing major surgeries, but the cancer was metastatic. It ultimately spread to his lungs, making it impossible for him to breathe on his own. We were shocked and devastated to hear his prognosis, but we held on to faith and continue to do so until the very end. Our father was intubated on July 6th, 2023 and passed on 7/20/2023. We were aware that this day would come, but we never expected it to come so soon. Our father was God-fearing, generous, kind, passionate, and loving. Despite living with cancer, he continued to be good to the people around him. We know that our father has touched many souls with his love in this lifetime, and we know that he is resting peacefully in God’s care.

We are aiming to raise enough money to cover the remainder of his funeral/burial costs including the repast. Our father is loved by many, and we are truly grateful for the help we are receiving from our family and friends, and we appreciate any donations to put our father to rest in a peaceful, loving, and respectful manner. He is survived by our mother, Sara, and she will be left with any remaining donations.
