Help Us Cherish Memories And Find Peace
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Stephanie Elliott (Daddy’s Baby Girl), the daughter of Steven Elliott, born on March 25th, 1962. I am deeply saddened to even be posting something like this to raise funds for my superhero. An amazing father, husband, and damn good grandfather.
On September 23, 2024, at 1:14 am, my daddy’s strong heart stopped beating. He was 62, born in '62, with a heart of gold. A big jokester, always cracking jokes all the way up until the day before he passed away. A big tall man that towards the end was 6’2 or 5’2 after his amputation, as he would say. A big jokester that would make the best of every situation he was in, no matter how sick he was. He was and is an amazing man that cherished his family and worked hard, even overtime, to take care of his family while on dialysis. Daddy gave us the world. Sadly, when he got his first wound on his foot, his job let him go, and that dropped all his benefits, including life insurance. My Champ fought 12 years to stay here with us because he knew we couldn’t live without him. Most people didn’t live past 5 years on dialysis, and my daddy lived 11. He went through a few amputations, and the last one was the worst one he could have ever been through. Fighting gas gangrene was the hardest fight he would ever have to fight, but he fought it like a champ with my mom along his side until his body couldn’t anymore. He was the strongest man I ever knew and probably would ever meet.
We would greatly appreciate any donation for afterlife expenses so my daddy can rest and finally be at peace. No more pain, no more suffering, no more dialysis, just resting until we meet again. Thank you all for your donations, sympathy, thoughts, and prayers!
