Help us compete at the Morgan Horse Nationals!

Dear friends and family,

As you may know, we have been taking horseback riding lessons under the instruction of Megan Gallagher and Allison Gillard at Grand Finale Stables in Grass Valley, California, for the past two years. Our trainers recently informed us that we would be very competitive in the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma this October! This is exciting news because we have worked so hard at our riding and showmanship skills!

To take part in this incredible opportunity, we will need to raise about $10,000. These costs cover the leasing of lesson horses and their transportation, feed, stalls, grooming, and training. These costs also cover our competition entry fees. We already earn an allowance for chores at home, and we volunteer at Grand Finale Stables, cleaning tack and grooming horses. We will also be making money selling eggs, pies, baked goods, and smaller craft items throughout the year. However, we are asking for some extra help through donations to help us get to Oklahoma for the show! 

There are many reasons we would love to attend this event. First, we want to represent Grand Finale Stables and be part of this elite team of riders. Also, listing this event on our resumés one day might help us get a job involving horses and boost our reputations in the horse world! Finally, as a bonus, since the show is in Oklahoma City, we would be able to visit the place we were born and the house we lived in as babies!
