Help Us Continue To Give You TENz!
TENz is an independently Black owned & published print and digital multimedia platform designed to act as a dynamic, engaging resource for ballroom culture and the surrounding QTPOC community.
TENz mission has been to curate a modern & provocative window into the lives of queer people of color by queer people of color. We provide daily social media content comprised of current events, ballroom and nightlife recaps, along with original video content series like #Hands4TENz, What It Gave, music interview series "Pump The Beat" and more.
TENz was birthed out of a conversation about the lack of a platform for the modern ballroom scene, a medium that discusses Black, Latino and Asian nightlife, and a forum to highlight LGBTQIA artists and content creators.
Since its inception in 2017, TENz financial structure has been composed primarily through nightlife promotion and coverage, multi-city LGBTQ pride bookings, print advertising, traditional web advertising and partnerships.
Like many other small businesses our financial structure came a complete halt because of Covid-19. TENz has been able to sustain operations during the first few months of quarantine, providing slowed traditional content roll outs, health related content and on the ground coverage of the Black Lives Matter & Black Trans Lives Matter protests.
As we head into Summer and Fall, we will not be able to continue operations without your support as we pivot to other monetizing structures.
Funding will help sustain operation costs, help us continue to release original content, hire additional content creators and hire a new partnership specialist to further monetize the platform in new and unique ways.
With your support TENz can continue to amplify our joy, struggles, talent, art and the unfiltered voices from the ballroom community and surrounding queer and trans of color community.
Thank you So Much For Your Support!
