Help us Cover His Vet Bills

Hello friends and family. For those who know Duke, he is the sweetest boy to ever walk on 4 legs. To those who don’t, he is the warmest greeting when you come in the house, and he brings you one or ten of his stuffies!

Yesterday, April 23rd, Duke ingested some mulch while doing what dogs do and chasing a worm. I noticed red blood-like fluid and vomit on the kitchen floor and cleaned it up, only to find it again later that day. This morning, I awoke to him in the sunroom surrounded by his own blood and unable to really eat or drink, so we rushed him to the emergency vet. After blood tests, x-rays, and two veterinarians checking him over, they found that the mulch had ulcerated his stomach, which caused the bleeding. He is stable now and at Mechanicsville Veterinary Clinic with a bill of over $500.

I know money is tight for everyone right now, myself included, being just weeks away from surgery myself. If anyone reading this, or anyone who knows Duke, or just simply loves dogs, can spare even a few dollars to help us cover his vet bill, you will not only be helping save one of the best dogs in the world, but you will be saving my best friend.
