Help Us Create a Tapestry of Hope

Poet Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, composer/pianist Kayleen Asbo and artist Johanna Baruch are raising funds to create a professional video of our collaboration of Preludes to Praise, a tapestry of spoken word, music and art images that celebrates the painful, paradoxical, luminous journey of being human in all its heartbreak and glory while staying connected to the stars. We need funds to create a professional sound recording of the piano music to give to a videographer who will weave Johanna's incandescent artwork with Rosemerry's heart opening poetry of grief and gratitude into a seamless video that can be used to apply for grants to bring a live performance to venues as diverse as Gothic Cathedrals and homeless shelters. We will post the video on YouTube so that it might be accessible to everyone, because we believe that this kind of project can help meet, hold and transform some of the vast sorrow of our world into a sense of wonder and shared communion.
