COMMUNITY CENTER WORTH SAVING
Tax deductible
The Highlands Center is a community center comprised of two beautiful and historic buildings in the Highlands Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado (located on West 29th Avenue and Julian Street). The Highlands Center is a space for art, music, and celebration. From graduation parties to baby showers to open art studios for families, every program, party, and partnership at the Highlands Center supports the immediate neighborhood and the broader common good. The Highlands Center is sponsored by North Highland Presbyterian Church that identifies itself as a progressive, emergent community, committed to creating safe, fun, open space for the neighborhood. Partnering with North Highland, as organizations that share space in the buildings and common projects, are the Denver Spanish Network, Meditation Training Community, Rocky Ridge Music Academy, Khesed Wellness, Seeds of Satya, Kundalini Yoga Denver and Highland Wedding Chapel.
We are on the precipice of a breakthrough where we can be a sustainable asset to our community, but we need your help.
We are relying on being able to rent out the last unfinished space, which has been under construction for almost a year now. We have recently had unexpected construction costs and need to raise $30,000 to get this space up and running for a wonderful small business, the Wonder Co., to use. Your contribution will help the Center survive - and then, thrive - as a center for arts, celebration, spirituality, and more.
