Help us Document 50 years of Chicano Danza

HELP!!!!!

We received several grants that we were going to use for our 40th anniversary this year. Due to COVID-19, we had to change plans. So now we have teamed up with the Centro Cultural de la RAZA, to have our exhibit at the Centro, Sherman Heights Community Center, and the Jacobs Center in San Diego.

BUT...

We need to raise $2,800 so we can build new, COVID-19 aware, exhibition space at the Centro. New walls, and Plexiglass display cases.

AND RECENTLY VOLUNTEERS AT CENTRO HAVE BEEN ORGANIZING THEIR ARCHIVES AND CAME ACROSS SCORES OF 8MM MOVIES, BETAMX VIDEOS, AND PHOTOS OF DANZA AT THE CENTRO CIRCA 1973-1980!!!!!! 

AS PART OF OUR GRANT ACTIVITIES, we want to support Centro so they can digitize as many of these fantastic finds as possible, AND CREATE A DIGITAL COPY FOR THE CENTRO, SO THAT THESE FINDS CAN BE MORE WIDELY AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.
