Help us Empower Andean Women in Peru

Tax deductible
Knitting Hope is one of MH’s (Mision Huascaran's) women empowering social projects. The goal of MH is to uplift more than 3000 families of rural communities in the Peruvian Andes by offering healthcare, education and by providing resources that will allow families to earn an honest and sustainable income.

Knitting Hope is the textile program of MH focused on generating well-being and economic development for more than 130 women and their families in vulnerable areas of the highlands of Ancash - Peru, located at more than 11,500 feet above sea level. While rescuing ancestral knitting and embroidery techniques, Knitting Hope empowers women and allows them to provide for their families.

Our goal is to raise $65,000 dollars, which would be used to cover fixed costs of the knitting workshop for an entire year and will allow it to settle in as a sustainable enterprise.

Note: The funds raised go directly to Mision Huascaran.
