Khalil works as a volunteer medic at Al-Shifa Hospital. On one tragic day, while he was transporting the injured, he was shocked to discover that our father, mother, and siblings were among the martyrs, their bodies torn to shreds.

I am Waseem Al-Yazji, and my brother Khalil is the only medic left with me after we lost our family in an Israeli airstrike.

My brother Khalil and I lost our parents, siblings, and relatives in an Israeli airstrike on our house when I was fifteen. Our house was destroyed, and we are now living in tents, suffering from rainfall. I only have my brother Khalil, who works as a medic, and his sick daughter, who needs continuous treatment. Khalil was deeply traumatized after seeing the remains of our family. We now live with my other brother's children, who need care. Those were the hardest moments of my life, where I lost everything, and now my brother and I carry this heavy burden together.

I am responsible for six children from my brothers who suffer from hunger and illness, and we live in a tent without shelter. The conditions are harsh, and we don’t know how to provide for their basic needs. We are in desperate need of support to meet our needs for food, medicine, and to provide safe shelter to protect us from the constant danger and death that threatens us.

My little girl, Tahreer, the daughter of my brother Khalil, is only 3 years old, but she carries a burden far heavier than her age. As a result of the bombing and destruction, we pulled her out from under the rubble, and she suffered from oxygen deficiency. After that, she became unable to walk or even stand due to her condition. She urgently needs intensive treatment and continuous medication to help her breathe properly. However, the circumstances in Gaza, where we live amidst war and destruction, have made it impossible to access appropriate medical care.

The war has destroyed our lives, leaving us to face pain and loss, but nothing is harder than watching this little girl struggle in silence. Tahrir needs urgent medical treatment outside Gaza, as there are no resources here to treat her condition. Getting treatment outside Gaza is the only hope to save her life, enabling her body to grow normally so she can stand and walk.

The goal of the campaign is to raise $26,000, divided as follows:

1. Tahrir's Treatment (including intensive medical treatment and medication):

Treatment cost: $11,000

Based on the daily treatment cost ($40 per day), we can calculate the period Tahrir will need to receive intensive medical treatment:

$11,000 ÷ $40/day = 275 days of treatment.

2. Physical Therapy and Vitamins:

$2,000 will be allocated for physical therapy and the vitamins Tahrir needs to support her health during her treatment.

3. Food and Health Needs (such as healthy food and vitamins):

$4,000 will be allocated to provide nutritious food and vitamins for the children and ensure their health needs are met.

4. Travel for Myself, My Brother, Tahrir, and the Orphaned Children of My Brother:

$9,000 will be allocated to cover the travel costs, flight tickets, accommodation, and any additional expenses related to relocating to a safe place.
