I am Mustafa qawash living in Belgium, but my family in Gaza is a software engineer, and I write to you on behalf of my family with a heavy heart from the besieged land of Gaza. Once, my family knew the warmth, happiness and security of our walls. But now we're trapped in a living nightmare, after our house was completely destroyed.

We're a family of 25, but we became 23 after losing my two brothers to their murder.

We have 14 children who were laughing and playing without care in the world, but now their innocent smiles have been replaced by glances of fear and anxiety. The sounds of explosions and street shootings hesitate, depriving them of their childhood innocence.
