Help us evacuate to Egypt and secure safety
Donation protected
Hi,
I'm Yousef Jouda, living in Belgium and I'm taking charge of organizing this campaign to my cousins. Every donation will be sent straight to Batoul Al Asi.
I am Batoul Al-Asi from Gaza. I am 18 years old. My family consists of 6 members: my mother, father, and my brother Ahmed, who is 20 years old. My sister, Lina, is 17 years old, and my little brother Jamil is 13 years old.
I launched this campaign to collect donations to evacuate my family from Rafay. The collected sum will be used to cover the authorization for the entire family to enter to Egypt. My family and I lived in peace and stability until October 7th, when we were displaced after our house was completely destroyed toge Thea Wicht our memories and dreams.
We were first displaced in the Karama area, northern Gaza, with our relatives. We left after the bombing intensified, and we almost died there.
Then, we were displaced to western Gaza, where a house next to us was bombed, which led to the house we were staying in being severely damaged, and we miraculously emerged from under the rubble.
After that, we moved to Al-Shifa Hospital, which was already filled with displaced people. In the hospital we lived in precarious conditions, without privacy, enough food and drink, and lack of cleanliness. We did not carry enough clothes and blankets with us, and as the situation worsened, we moved towards the safe corridor designated by the occupation, walking from the north of the Strip to the south, carrying only some important clothes and papers on our shoulders!
We arrived to Khan Yunis, we stayed in a school without windows in winter time and we slept on the floor without any covers. Then, the bombing intensified in the area which supposed to be safe. We were therefore forced to move to Rafah, and the means of life here are almost non-existent in terms of water, electricity, food, and sanitation.
It never occurred to me to launch a crowdfunding campaign for anything, but right now this is my only chance to survive for me and my family, especially with the high costs of travel, as right now a permits to enter Egypt costs $5,000 per person!
Any donation or sharing from you will contribute to saving our lives
Thank you very much and may God protect you!
