Urgent- Help Us Evacuate Warzone and Rebuild Our Lives

Donation protected
[My name is Feargha, and I'm from Ireland. I have made this gofundme on behalf of my Gazan friends Alaa and Sojoud, who are currently living in Rafah and urgently need to evacuate and reunite with their parents. Here is a message from Alaa:]

Hello, it is Alaa Madi from Gaza.

I am a daughter of a simple family, a wife of a kind husband, and a mother of a little baby boy.

Right now, I am seeking for the survive of their innocent souls and mine of the current Genocide and migration. We are currently located in Rafah, Alshaboura Camp. Our beautiful Gaza was turned into a grave town that has no safe place but out of it. It has no airplane, so we can’t travel unless we cross the Egyptian neighboured border in which imposes USD 5000 per person as departure fees. It is only that amount of money(though these fees raise by the day) that enables us to move into a place next to us but has safety, healthcare, electricity, food, warm clothes, and a life we deserve.

With your donations to collect this amount, you will be the heroes who will save the lives of those persons:

I (Alaa 23 years old) was raised in Gaza and survived 5 past wars and numbers of aggressions and currently witnessing the cruelest war that could conduct me to death today or tomorrow. I have studied in Murcia, Spain as I was an A+ student and saw a completely different world with quite, flexible and safe life rather than our bloody, exhausting and threatened life.

My husband (Ahmed 31 years old) is a satisfying person whose biggest happiness was returning from work with goods and essential needs, yet war killed this happiness, destroyed his work, and made our city empty of goods and full of hunger.

My kid, Adam, is only 9 months who doesn’t deserve to be living this. He is still young for eating canned food. For his drink, there is no gas to prepare milk for him and even when I hardly lit fire I don’t find drinkable water to boil, only polluted water with made-up powder milk that is about to finish from pharmacies. He has been suffering scalded skin as we can't afford him diapers constantly due to its exorbitant cost with the loss of our work at the same time.
However it hurts me when I can’t provide him primary food elements like vitamins and protein, lack of vaccines in clinics makes me worried about his future health, being delivered from his simplest right of absorbing sunlight in this dirty environment.
He is an an age that is supposed to start crawling, but can’t get the needed exercises in our crowded sandy tent.

My parents are both receiving medical treatment in Egypt, in ستشفى ساحل التخصصي التعليمي Sahel Teaching Hospital. They arrived on the first of May after months of waiting and suffering. My father (Hamdi 57years) has Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is now finally receiving a cure for drought in the stomach.

My mother (Noura 48years) underwent two cartilage operations just before war starts. She is getting treated now for curvature in cartilage bones. We wish to be reunited with our parents and be with them in their recovery.

My three brothers (Hussam, Mohamamed, Mahmoud; 27,20,13) are in the middle of danger required to do things elder than their ages in order not to be hungry, yet they and we rarely provide food.

My young sister (Sojoud 17years old) is a witness of the same tragedy evacuating with my family from a tent to another that was supposed to finalise secondary school this year. My siblings are losing their right of education and I am always disconnected with them and my parents for weak telecommunication.

It has been 210 days since this savage Genocide started. Neither media nor press could show the exact shocking situation. More than 33000 spirits have been killed, and I saw bodies of killed people thrown in the streets and still waiting my turn of death. Being a survivor until now doesn’t guarantee we won’t be killed, nor does it mean we survive naturally, but actually living with a broken heart, a devastated soul, a shattered mind and an evermore grief.

The world shouldn’t be a spectator of these massacres. We are like any person in the world; humans having ambitions, plans, and loved people fearing our loss. Each member of my family has a success story that paid its cost and deserve to live until seeing his hard work paying off. We have lost many relatives and friends and likely to be lost. You can help me to rescue these lives and not be disillusioned in front of my people’s suffering. I trust your good selves can do something. Please don’t let us stuck in this burial ground until bombings stop.

Thanks for considering my issue. Your donation means saving our lives.
Sincerely!
Alaa
