Eid al-Adha (Feed The Poor) - 6.28.23

As we approach the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan, we have started this GoFundMe campaign to help provide food for 20 families in Mecca, one of the most sacred cities in the world for Muslims. Many families in Mecca are struggling to make ends meet, especially during these challenging times, and cannot afford to provide basic necessities for their families, let alone special meals during Ramadan.

By donating to this campaign, you will be helping to ensure that these families can break their fast with nutritious meals and celebrate this blessed month without the burden of worrying about their next meal. Your donation will go directly towards purchasing food items such as rice, flour, dates, and other essential supplies that will be distributed among these families.

-$300 per sheep - 20 sheep

-$2000 cook and distribute

Total estimated cost: $17,000

This is more than enough to feed the 20 families and we will push to feed more with what we have.

If we can't raise the funds then I can either refund everyone or send it to one of the organizations I work with (UICA) they are located in Arizona

This is going to be a surprise campaign for my soon-to-be wife she's always enjoyed hearing about the fundraiser and food drives I have been volunteering in and Inshallah I can take her on this one across the world in the holiest city Mecca, I personally have not budgeted to save for this trip and am praying to allocate the funds before the end of Ramadan. I would have gone to the local Masjids and Churches and facebook but she might hear about it and that would ruin the secret. This is my first time using an online fundraising page so I hope that this works well, we hope this will inspire others to take similar actions and spread kindness and compassion during this holy month. By sharing our experience, we hope to raise awareness about the struggles faced by families in Mecca and encourage more people to donate to similar causes.

We have personally reached out to local organizations in Mecca to identify the most deserving families who are in dire need of assistance and will be working closely with them to ensure that the distribution of food is done in a fair and transparent manner.

Please note that we will obtain consent from all parties involved before recording and posting the video, and will be respectful of any cultural sensitivities or traditions surrounding the distribution of charity in the region.

Any amount you can contribute will make a significant impact on the lives of these families, and help them experience the joy of Ramadan. Let us come together and spread kindness and compassion during this holy month.
