We are a group of 4th graders trying to make a difference!

Did you know that over a 100 million people worldwide don’t have a permanent place to live, and 2,380 of those people live in Franklin county? Homelessness is a big problem in our community, as every year it increases. It is caused when people lose their jobs and stop making money so they can’t pay for their house. Homelessness affects people’ s health because they can get sick from being on the streets and they don't have healthy food or clean water, so it causes health issues. Though many people try to solve this issue, and you can too!

We are working to support people who are homeless by donating to Stone Soup Cafe in Greenfield, MA. They feed people in need.
