Help Moe fight ALS!

My husband was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, a progressive and aggressive terminal illness, in February of this year...It all started with a limp back in November of 2017. We thought he had a pinched nerve or something like that. When we were told ALS, we couldn't have ever imagined it could be something so horrible. ALS is not widely known about. It takes away all functionality of your body one thing at a time and eventually your ability to breathe, which is usually what ultimately takes your life. All while leaving your mental function untouched. The suffering is great. Our family hurts everyday for we see this terrible disease taking over. This man has brought so much joy into my life. He is a giver. He loved to walk, so much so that he would tire me out on a walk. Now he is confined to his chair. Its heartbreaking for me and our family. But I must be strong everyday, for him and for our 4 kids (combined). We must remember to find joy everyday of our lives because you never know when things can change. Every single moment is a gift.
Our world has changed forever. He has been quickly loosing all of his muscle strength, one limb at a time. Now he is almost completely wheelchair bound. He is 100% disabled and unable to earn a living. I am the only one working at this point even though, there are times when I should be at home taking care of him. Our medical bills are growing and his needs are changing and growing everyday.
I have never been good at asking for help. I try to do it all, but this disease is scary and I can't handle this on my own. We need help. Anything helps. Everything helps. Prayers are always welcomed. Thank you for reading our story. Please take a moment to think about how something like this can change your life forever. Consider what a difference any amount will make in the well being of my family, especially my husband, and our children's future.
