Help us fight the Coronavirus in Guinea

The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic is an unprecedented health crisis at a global level.
Whilst most nations have gone into lockdown to stop the virus from spreading in communities, in many parts of Africa this is difficult if not impossible given the underlying economic challenges, particularly for deprived communities.
Guinea is one of those countries where the virus has been spreading quite rapidly, and has the potential to cause havoc and deaths at unprecedented level. To help minimise the spread of the disease within communities in densely populated areas of Guinea where authorities are unable to enforce social distancing.
GuiProNetUK (a network of Guinean professionals in the United Kingdom) are looking to provide contactless hand-washing stations in these areas.
We have partnered with a few suppliers in Guinea to provide us with the logistic to install hand-washing facilities in strategic areas of the capital (Conakry). We also aim to produce and share on social media a 25 seconds video with clear and simple message to raise public awareness on the importance of hand-washing, and the need to maintain social distancing. Our goal is to raise at least £10,000 to get the necessary hand-washing units built in Guinea. We are looking at two solutions that do not require any energy at all.
1. The first solution is a wood unit consisting of a foot pedal mechanism that enables people to dispense a liquid soap and then use the same process to dispense the water. The cost per unit is £30.
2. The second solution (see video), is more durable as it is made out of metal. It is more suitable for areas with higher usage rates. Unit price is £150.
Please help us reach our goal in order to save lives in deprived and densely populated areas of Guinea.
We are grateful for your generosity in this humanitarian endeavour.
Thank you!
