In loving memory of Chris Goy

11/1 update:

We mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Chris Goy. His memory remains in our hearts. A memorial took place on October 28th, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We are grateful for the tremendous generosity and energy Chris' community of friends and family in New Mexico and across the globe took into trying to find and help him. We have expanded our fundraising for one last effort to support the family's memorial and end-of-life costs. If you can support this effort, we greatly appreciate it.

10/24 update:

On October 21, a body was discovered in the Sandia Mountains.The Office of Medical Investigators (OMI) later identified the body as Chris Goy based on clothing and other identifying factors.

We want to thank each and every one who has been on this emotional journey with us. Thank you to those who donated as part of the search effort and to those who lent their time and prayers to help find Chris.

As we prepare to put Chris's body to rest and respect his last wishes, we want to draw on the strength he lived each and every day of his life with and be reminded of how short life can be; never take the next day for granted and tell everyone around you how much you love them, just like Chris did. Thank you for all your support, prayers, donations, and energy to bring Chris home.

A note from the organizer- new financial contributions will now go towards funeral and associated costs. We have updated the goal to reflect these costs. Thank you again for your support in this unimaginably difficult time.

10/6 Update: Search and rescue efforts continue, with a returned focus on Albuquerque. New developments suggest that Chris may still be in New Mexico, and we believe shifting efforts back to his original location and the extended Albuquerque area may be most effective.

Until further notice, any funds raised here will support ongoing search & rescue efforts, private investigator resources, and other expenses tied to the ongoing search for our loved one and friend, Chris.

Our dear friend, Chris Goy, is missing.

We are raising funds to help support the search effort, specifically for a Facebook ad campaign to raise awareness and and for miscellaneous expenses that arise from search efforts and resources.

This is being run by Jen Spero and Tristan Tully, friends of Goy. In addition to running ads for awareness, we will be providing the funds directly to Alex, Goy's husband. He is using these funds to support the expenses of the search effort and private investigation.
