Help Us Fix Gus’ Flat!

Hello everyone! We are the Cooper family. Our names are, Jeff and Jessyka. We have a Daughter, Norah, and a son, Gus. Gus was born with moderate/severe plagiocephaly, Brachycephaly, and Torticollis, along with a host of other problems as well such as a blocked kidney, and a heart arythmia. Some of these issues have caused his skull to not be shaped properly. There's several terms for how his head is shaped, but we'll save you from the medical terms. He has flat spots, rounding in some areas, his ears are shifted, and more. No amount of tummy time can fix this. It is likely if this doesn't get corrected soon, it could remain like this permanently. This isn't only an aesthetic issue, it can cause his brain to not shape properly as well. Now is the perfect time to correct this as his skull is still soft and can be shaped overtime into a normal state.

The reason we are setting up the go fund me is because Gus will be in need of a Doc band/helmet to help with the shaping. Our insurance will accept the procedure and helmet as it is medically necessary, but we are still around $5,000 from reaching our deductible. The helmet alone is $2100 and that is the amount we are seeking. Should we receive any donations past that amount, they will go towards his kidney surgery we have scheduled for the first week of August.

Please help us fix this issue for our son so he can get the treatment he needs!
