Dear Friends & family,

My name is Fi Garrett and my husband is Aaron. We are originally from Wellington NZ and moved here to Brisbane back in 2018 for a better lifestyle for our kids.

Brisbane has now become our home and we absolutely love it here. Our now adults kids have achieved so much here. Our eldest has his own contracting business and is now married with 4 awesome step children and recently had his first baby girl.

Our youngest has blown our minds with her ongoing achievements in Hairdressing and becoming a manager of one of the popular hair dressing chains around Australia. And if course my amazing hubby Aaron smashing out quality work all over Brisbane leaving nothing but a trail of quality workmanship and reputable customer service.

Life's been amazing since our move over the ditch until December last year when I was unfortunate to be T-boned at a busy intersection not far from our house, this has resulted in our work van being taken off the road temporarily and insurance wasn't enough due to having to pay the van finance off. Because of this we have been leasing a van untill we can get our van fixed.

The lease payments have been extremely debilitating, making it near impossible to getting our van repaired.

Over the past few months, our family has faced a series of personal and financial challenges that have left us struggling to keep up with daily life. Also to add to the rollercoaster of setbacks our health has dramatically declined with unexpected health issues, leaving us now in a critical situation.

So Unfortunately we are having to reach out during a time of great need and we love your help to avoid losing everything we've worked so hard for.

Our immediate needs are rent and lease payments for our van that is essential for my husband’s work.

The financial strain and health issues has left us with mounting debt, including a ridiculously high monthly payment to work towards reclaiming an important asset.

These challenges have made it impossible for my husband to return to work for the last month or so, leaving us without a reliable source of income.

We have always been a family that fights hard to overcome obstacles, but this time we are asking for support.

Hopefully once the initial target is met we will be able to reset the goal amount to help cover the van repairs.
