What a good and wonderful gift the Lord has provided us in CLC Mars Hill. When we began our journey to find a building to house our growing school, we could not have imagined He would move as He did and provide us with the opportunity to PURCHASE the old Sunset School at 408 Mars Hill Drive in Clear Lake.
It was the apostle Paul who preached a clear and concise message of salvation at none other than Mars Hill in Athens, Greece. The classical education that Paul received prepared him to clearly and understandably explain the Good News to the culture he encountered at Mars Hill (Acts 17). Just as Paul used his opportunity at Mars Hill to advance the Gospel, we will we use classical Christian education at the Mars Hill campus to advance the same Gospel with CLC students and then into the surrounding culture. In both word and deed it is our honor to continue the tradition Paul set forth, that a relationship with Christ need not be bought or earned but is a free gift to all who repent and believe. This opportunity to own the Mars Hill campus is a chance to trust our Lord with more.
While generous commitments from individuals and Foundations have paved the way for the purchase of the building, additional funds are needed for ongoing renovations at Mars Hill. We have had a fantastic first year with many of our staff and volunteers committing time, energy, and funds to the restoration of this building, but we still have some projects that need to be tackled. Some of the long-term and immediate needs/upgrades to the property are itemized below. Some of these projects have been fully funded and completed (yay!) and some have yet to be tackled or are ongoing needs. Would you be willing to join us in this endeavor? No gift is too small. We are eager to see this project reach and touch a wide base of supporters. We hope you prayerfully consider how you can partner with us in this ministry that God started and has sustained at Clear Lake Classical.

Clear Lake Classical was born out of a desire to see children in our community develop a love of learning and to live up to their academic potential. Rooted in the Gospel, our school strives to educate students with an emphasis on grammar, logic and rhetoric in all subjects.
Our purpose at CLC is to graduate culture-shaping young men and women whose minds and hearts have been trained to love that which is worth loving.
