Help us get defibrillator machines in Bellshill

Hi

I’m paul and I will be running my first marathon in may (Edinburgh) to raise money to fund 2 defibrillators in the Bellshill area.

My brother Wullie has suffered with kidney problems and has been on dialysis for the whole of his adult life.

In the past 6 months he has also suffered with 2 cardiac arrests due to his condition , luckily he has been in hospital during these times and has been able to have life saving treatment. The chances of survival without the use of a defibrillator are very slim.

My 5 year old son Vinnie was born with a life long heart condition so this is cause is double important to me and my family.

Through this I am hoping to raise enough money to fund 2 defib machines.

one to be placed in the west end area of bellshill and one to be placed near Wullie’s home (community road area)

these would both be registered with ambulance service so would benefit anyone in the local community.

quick and early access to a defibrillator saves lives!!!
