Help Us Get Grandma Home!

The cornerstone of our family has been called before the presence of our Lord. To honor her wishes WE THE GRANDKIDS have come together to ensure the final stretch of her journey is complete. Mama Ligia (grandma) had come to visit us from Nicaragua during the 2018 holiday season. Unfortunately, her visit took a turn for the worse due to a heartbreaking diagnosis of Pancreatic cancer. Grandma’s last wish was to be laid to rest in her home in Nicaragua by her husband’s side. It is our dutiful responsibility as the living embodiment of her legacy to see her final wishes fulfilled.

To this end, we have setup a GoFundMe account to archive this goal. Her legacy, memory, teachings, love and affection will forever leave a permanent mark in each of us. She was our shelter, our mentor, our caregiver, and ultimately our life bringer. She was a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a great grandmother , a friend to all, and overall an extraordinary woman without equal.

We would be honored if you participated in this endeavor with us as family & friends. Any and all contributions will be to cover the transportation of her body, burial and funeral services. Help us grant our beloved grandmother her final wish and help us complete Grandma’s Journey Home. In our time of needs she was there for us, now is time for us to do the same for her.
