Help us get our ducks in a row.

As most of you already know, on March 1st, 2022, I was given the worst news of my life: I had been diagnosed with late stage metastatic breast cancer. It has been a very hard year for me and my husband, and beyond our daily physical and mental health issues, it’s the financial stress that has become the biggest stress of all.
That leads me to what many of you may not know: Due to my current inability to keep a regular work schedule, I am no longer receiving a salary. I have had no choice but to accept an hourly position with my employer, and I am only physically strong enough at this point to work two shifts per week. Unfortunately, to quote my amazing doctor, “The kind of cancer (I) have is one of the most expensive kinds of cancer to treat. (I) will always carry this financial burden.”
This is embarrassing to share, but for the past few months, our household has been struggling to make ends meet. Jav is doing his absolute best to keep us afloat with his single income, but I honestly don’t know when I will be well enough to return to full-time work, and contribute once again.
Until that happens, our family would greatly appreciate any sort of help that anyone can provide. I hate having to even ask. So many of you have so kindly already helped us, and for that we are still so incredibly grateful.
Unfortunately, with half the income we were accustomed to coming in, we need help with my part of our rent, utilities, groceries, etc.
— not to mention medical bills for past and future treatments, scans, tests, medications, etc.
We are truly blessed to have such an amazing support system throughout this difficult time, and I still believe that we’re all going to come out of this stronger than ever. Jav and I just need a little help right now getting our ducks in a row, and back in the water.
We thank you for everything, and appreciate any donation — past, present, and future. Bless you all.
Love,
Woo <3
