Help Us Get Our TLC Kids To School!

Donation protected
Hello again wonderful people,

Welcome back to the starlit world of TLC!!!!

We've been quiet - but deliciously busy.
The team at TLC have been working hard for the past year thinking of ways to best support our young stars!

We have been keeping tabs on the youths from our previous 'Star Hunt' event (That many of you generously helped us with, and what a whopper that was - thank you again) and now Is a pivotal time in their young lives..

19 of our wonderful 'Star Hunt' partakers are now of an age to officially attend Secondary School- We know, they're growing too fast!
I'm sure you'll agree that secondary school is a necessary progression of education, equipping us with the vital skills and qualifications needed to have access to all that this big wide world has to offer.

Education is something many of us have been privileged enough to take for granted! (Especially myself). The thing about these children though, is that they really want to learn. They want that access. They want to be in school. But right now, because of lack of funds they just cant.

Not only was school free for many of us - so were lots of things like school dinners, textbooks, the means to actually get to school!

So we at TLC are trying to raise the funds to send our kids to school!! we are doing the rounds to do whatever we can to make sure they all get the chances in life that they deserve.

Here is how you can get involved!

Option 1: Donate to Our go fund me pot!
You can do us a solid and donate to our go-fund me page!
There's no such thing as "Too little". There's no such thing as a shameful amount every little helps!

One school year costs around the equivalent of £550 per student.
Therefore we are doing our utmost to raise the funds to send all 19 of our hopefuls to school for at least one year. That is £9500 in total for just the school fee alone.
If we are lucky enough to surpass our target of £9500, the over flow will be to further assist with the costs of getting to, and being in school: Uniforms, Transport, Books and Lunch Money . We've budgeted this to about £500 per child per school year.
The grand Number to send all 19 kids to school and support them with the expenses of Uniforms, stationary transport and lunch is £19,950.

It's a large target - But where there's a will there is always a way right?

Option Two: Sponsor one (or more) of our talented Kids for the full 4 years!
As I'm sure you've gathered no secondary school education lasts for 1 year.
In Kenya the Secondary School education system last for 4 years. We would love to cover this for all our kids in its entirety, However it's a relatively large target for a rather small, fairly unknown Foundation like ourselves!
(£180,500 to be exact and £361,000 if we also include the annual cost of being at school! ...YIKES!)
So we’ve decided that as well as our "ambitious" Go fund me target to ensure all the children get to school for at least this year - If you have the means and wish to do so, You can also sponsor the education of one or some of our 19 students on an individual basis.
Pop us an email stating that you are interested in sponsoring a child, and we will send you a break down of all of our hopeful students, what school they are hoping to attend, how much it is, how they’ve previously performed in school, Comments from their previous teachers, and a little about themselves in their own words too!

Thank you for sticking with us!
